Best Foot Forward!

I do want to take this opportunity to thank everyone for their love and prayers over the Easter period. In case you have not seen me hobbling around, I have been struggling with very painful acute gout mainly in my left foot. I have also been physically extremely tired for quite some time now and so, as many of you will have heard, the Doctor has signed me off work for a few weeks. I will still be around, but I won’t be taking on any responsibility in church life for a little while. My prayer is that God will use this period to teach us all more of his plans for the life of our church family.

On Sundays our services will be led by Chris and others, and we will be hearing from some of the main evening speakers at this year’s Spring Harvest (not in person, but via DVD on our big screen). The series looks at some of the events in the life of Peter, as recorded in the Gospels and Acts. Those of us who were present at Spring Harvest benefited tremendously, and these talks are well worth hearing again. It is my prayer that they will impact our whole church over the coming weeks.
