141st Anniversary Psalm

As part of our anniversary service at the church camp last Sunday we came up with our own psalm of praise to celebrate our 141 years. Each inter-generational group came up with it's own section. Can you find yours?

Come good, come bad
Your love is constant.
Celebrating together
We thank you Lord for each other

Over all generations
Throughout the years

A world of beauty, drama, and change
God’s love never fails
All we need for life

We thank you for family and friends

Thank you for showing us your love

And for the promise of new life
God’s love never fails
You give us your spirit as abundantly as the air we breathe

Thank you God for the family around me
Thank you God for friends around me
You are always there for us
Your arms are always around us
Thank you God for loving us
And for our Church family that surrounds us
Thank you God for special food, sun, sea, and moon

Thanks for my family
Thank you that I can play football
Thank you God for my body
Thanks you God for the ability to see and hear and feel your creation
Thanks you for all the different food
Thank you for the whole of our Church family from the youngest to the oldest
Thank you for fun and laughter
Thank you God for your sacrifice for giving us your son
Your love endures forever
God is good
God is there
He is loving
And he’s everywhere

Thanks for all you do for me
You are there through history
You love me through thick and thin
God is there in everything

Before the seed hit the soil
When the place was empty

As the seed sprouts

As the tree shoots for the sky
Growing strong and tall

And the sunshine feeds the tree

As the winds bend the tree low
And the storm breaks its branches

And fruit begins to form

And the tree grows old
